Use the Right Mouse Button
Windows uses the right mouse button for many functions:
 | Right click on the taskbar to Minimize, Cascade, or Tile all windows. |
 | Right click on the Recycle Bin to empty it. |
 | To format a disk drive, right click on the drive's icon in the Explorer or
in My Computer. |
 | If a file has an associated application, but you want to open it with a
different application, hold down the Shift key and right click on its icon. |

Drag and Drop Files
Drag and drop files or desktop objects with the Right mouse button instead of
the Left one. When you drop them on the target, a little pop-up menu gives you the following options: Move, Copy, Create Shortcut.

Drag and Print Files
If you do a lot of printing, it's useful to put a shortcut to your printer on
the Desktop. Then dragging and dropping documents on the printer icon will
print them immediately.
- Click on Start Button --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Printers
- Drag your printer icon to the Desktop
- A shortcut to the printer will be created.

Creating mouse trails
It's easier to keep track of the mouse if you have trails turned on
(especially if you are
using a laptop computer).
- Click on Start menu, Settings, Control Panel
- Double-click on the Mouse icon
- Select the Motion tab
- Select Show Pointer Trails
