Using Email in Outlook

The kinds of Email messages that you can send are becoming more and more diverse all the time. It is easy to send and receive messages whether they consist of simple text or text with special formatting (rich text), whether they contain video files, or whether they are being sent to one colleague, a group of co-workers, or an academic discussion group.

This section describes how to compose, send, receive, and organize messages. The following illustration shows the parts of a message composed in Outlook:
