Use the Out of Office Assistant to automate the handling of your email while you are away. Messages may be automatically replied to or directed to another user.

  1. Click on Tools.
  2. Click on Out of Office Assistant...
  3. Click on "I am currently Out of the Office"

  1. Type in your AutoReply message.

  2. Click on OK, unless you want to define a rule or rules for handling your messages in your absence. If you want define rules, click on Add Rule... and you will see the following screen:

As you can see, many options exist for customize the handling of your messages based on a wide variety of conditions.
