Both Email messages and Contacts may be flagged to remind you to perform some
action at sometime in the future. This is an easy-to-use, but powerful feature.
Flagged items will pop-up when they become due to remind you that you need to
take some action.
- Right-click on either a message or a contact and select Flag for Follow
Up, and the following dialog box will appear:

- Follow up is the default selection for the Flag to area. You may click the
drop-down arrow to see other stock actions, or you may create your own
action by typing it in to the box.
- Flags are not assigned a completion date by default, but you can click the
drop-down arrow in the "Due by:" box and select one by using the Date
Navigator.
- You will see the item that you flagged with a small red flag next to it.
If you don't either clear the flag or mark it completed by its due date, it
will pop-up to remind you that you need to take care of it, and the flagged
item will appear in red text.

- When the flagged item becomes due, you may either mark it
as Dismiss it, Snooze it, or Open Item in order to reschedule it.
